Embroidery For You STL absolutely loves working with brides. From the engagement , through various parties, showers, and bachelorette parties, to the big day itself, and finally, the honeymoon. We have had several brides return to us for personalized items when their first child arrives!

Embroidery For You STL always schedules a consultation meeting with a bride to see: What type of wedding she is having, what is her wedding color scheme, and what she envisions for her personalized accessories and bridal party gifts? Does she want to use the same color(s) as the wedding for her bridesmaid gifts OR does the bride want to use a complimentary, or even a contrasting color? Is there a theme involved? We have done weddings where there is one color palette for the shower or bachelorette party with a completely different color range for rehearsal dinner and day of events.

Recently, Abigail, one of our brides, knew exactly what she wanted from a color standpoint. At the very first meeting, she informed us she was having a rainbow wedding, something that was very popular in the 1950’s and again in the late 1970’s. Abigail absolutely loved rainbows and was particular that everything had to reflect a six-color rainbow and should be in the actual order of the rainbow. We suggested different color button down oxford style shirts for her bridal party, men and women. Each shirt had the personal monogram of the bridal attendant. The pre-ceremony pictures, which were taken outside, really popped.

Another bride, Margaret, loved red so much that she originally wanted a red wedding dress. Margaret used red and off white throughout her wedding. And, NO, this was not a Valentine or Christmas wedding. We discovered red was her favorite color as well as a simple acknowledgement to her Chinese ancestors. Embroidery For You STL did St. Louis Cardinal themed hats for the groomsmen and monogrammed red ties. For the bridesmaids, they had a personalized red robe along with a red baseball hat with their individual three letter monogram done in off white. Both gifts that can be used after their bridal party duties.

Personalization has become a big part of weddings. From a unique, customized gift to ask your bridal party to be part of your big day, to the trendy special shirts for a bachelor or bachelorette party, to monogrammed napkins and decorations for the ceremony. Congratulations! Embroidery For You STL looks forward to embroidering for you on your very special day. Remember to add this task to your wedding planning To Do List.
